Our Story

Founded by husband & wife team, Jason & Monica Terry, Casa Mia Pizzeria is a welcoming place where they’re focused on providing uncompromising quality food & customer service. They strive to foster a community culture among their team and customers. 

Jason was born and raised in Jacksonville, aside from a few years when his dad was stationed elsewhere with the Marine Corps. His love for serving customers was fostered as a young boy during a family trip to visit his Noni & Papa in California. He fondly remembers serving customers alongside his Papa in his Italian deli. This is when his dream of having his own restaurant was born.  

Jason started working as a delivery driver in a local pizza shop in high school. Working from the ground up, his roles and responsibilities shifted as years passed, and he learned the ins and outs of the restaurant business. After a brief stint exploring other opportunities, he pursued his dream and passion to make people happy through pizza and opened Casa Mia Pizzeria in his hometown.  

Monica enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a firefighter. After separating, she made Jacksonville home and began working at a local pizzeria. This is where she and Jason met. Like Jason, she worked her way up, learning the different aspects of the pizza business. Together, they have more than 40 years of experience, tossing dough and working in Jacksonville’s pizza scene.  

This duo is passionate about serving the tastiest pizza eats while getting to know their customers and exceeding their expectations. They feel immensely fortunate to be part of this community that’s comprised of so many who also serve.
